 About Us The Brain Aneurysm Support Group, formed in 2007, is part of the Chicago Chapter of the Brain Aneurysm Foundation. The BAF Chicago Chapter is located at the University of Illinois Hospital and Neurosurgery. This is the ONLY BAF chapter in the Midwest.The support group involves members from the entire Chicago area, including the western suburbs, northern Illinois and northwest Indiana. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation was established in Boston in 1994, as a public charity. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation is the nation’s only nonprofit organization solely dedicated to providing critical awareness, education, support and research funding to reduce the incidence of brain aneurysms. The Brain Aneurysm Foundation has become the world’s leading source of private funding of brain aneurysm research. |
